Other FAQ’s:
Below are some answers to frequently asked questions at the Williamsburg.
Q: I’m having some plumbing work done and need to shut off the water.
A: If you live on the West side please notify Linda Kempter at lindakempter@sbcglobal.net so your building can be notified. The water shut-offs for the West side buildings are found on the side of each building behind a 2x2 metal box. If you live on the East side please notify Barbara Harrison at delladallas@mac.com so that the East side can be notified. The water shut-offs for the entire East side are two water meters at the side of unit 4102E sidewalk. Both meters must be shut off before the repair starts and turned back on when the repair is completed. All water shut-offs require notification to Veracity at 214-368-3388 or email to coordinator@veracityinc.com or lori@veracityinc.com.
"We request 48 hour advance notice for non-emergency water shut-offs."
Q: To whom do I report a service issue?
A: As always, the financial responsibility for a repair issue should first be determined by referring to the Williamsburg Homeowner’s Maintenance Chart. If the issue is the HOA’s responsibility then contact Veracity.
Q: Who is responsible for the front and back porch and balcony lights?
A: The homeowner is responsible for their back porch light. The HOA will maintain the front porch bulb IF the homeowner has an approved, HOA bulb compatible fixture. Additionally, residents may NOT loosen or remove the bulb from their front porch and leave their front porch area dark.
